Top 10 Best Spiritual Books of All Time

I have read many books which have inspired me. It was hard to pick from the many I have read but this 10 books are definitely some if not my favorites. If you are trying to find yourself or feel lost in the world I hope one of these books will inspire you to feel differently about life. Life is a journey and we as creators can create the magnificent life that we all want.

by Wayne Dyer

Wayne Dyer has been one of my favorite authors for a very, long time. In his new book he relives his journey about his life and all the stepping stones that he took to get to where he is today. In this book he shows that the journey which is life is always being led by a higher power and that to think that you have control of it is just simply the biggest mistake you can make. Wayne gives details about his life and of the many books he has written. It is an incredible journey and a must read for all that are seeking to find themselves.

In this book Ram Dass takes you into a journey like no other. This book is about his meeting up with his guru Maharaji in this lifetime. The extraordinary journey taken on by Ram Dass is incredible. Learning about Maharaji ,how a simple man like Maharaji helped so many release their ego. Westerners would flock to India just to rub this man's feet wanting to feel the peace that they felt when they were surrounded by the pure love that this guru emanated. This has become one of my favorite books of all time followed up with "Miracles of Love". Expect to be taken to a journey like no other.

8. Earthkeeper

Adam Hall takes us into his journey of rediscovering himself. This book inspired me so much and i connected to it in so many levels. Mr. Hall goes from being a wealthy, snobby,mean real estate broker in Malibu, CA to a humble, kind hearted man. In his journey Adam takes us into a world of shamans and his rediscovery of himself. He opens us up to our full potential within after listening to his calling and his guide Lila Adam. He leaves his egotistical life behind and discovers that there is more to life than just money and expensive material things. In his book Mr. Hall relives his history in such vividness that it makes you feel like you are actually in the journey with him. This is one of those books that you just wont be able to put down it definitely keeps you tuned in.

7. When Things Fall Apart

This book is about the teachings of Pema Chodron a monk Buddhist. The book talks about the suffering in life and how accepting the suffering and confronting it usually delivers you to your freedom. It explains in detail how the suffering part is necessary in order to grow from your experience and how many people run away from the suffering part and never deal with it which creates more anxiety in oneself. The book is very insightful in the way that it explains suffering and how when you confront suffering head on it dissipates into nothingness.

6. A Course In Miracles

This book was based on the writings of Helen Schuchman. This book is a psychotherapy book that opens you to another world. In her writings she scribes what was said to be Jesus talking to her. This book is written out like the bible but offers you so much more in the understanding of the ego,mind and spirit. It is a book that needs to be read and studied and it contains lessons that need to be reflected on. It is a book that takes patience to understand but once understood the messages that it gives are like a pot of Gold. Marianne Williamson has been one of the Authors that has made "A Course in Miracles" a very popular book her insight on it has inspired many. This book is a book that you must study and be ready for, if your not in the right mindset this book will not make sense to you but in terms of spirituality this book is an eye opener to a different realm in this lifetime.

5. You can Heal your Life

Miss Hay is an extraordinary teacher and a great sage of our time. In her book she explains how the different causes of diseases are actually caused by the situations in our life from past or present experiences. In her book she talks about the many diseases and gives affirmations to follow so that you can actually heal yourself from these dreadful diseases. She explains in simple terms how you can become your own healer and find your way back to a life free of disease. This book is one of those gems that you want to keep near you at all times just to go back to it and read up on it when things seem to be going haywire for you. I recommend this book from the bottom of my heart. It helped me at a point in my life when I thought I couldn't go on any longer and it opened my heart and showed me how to find a way to deal with myself and go on with life.

4. The Secret of the Ages

by Robert Collier

I discovered this book sort of by accident as so many of my other books have been discovered. This is a remarkable book that opens you to your truth. It gives youa sense of who you really are and who you can become. Mr.Collier explains the power of creation and goes into detail about the creation process of our thoughts and how we as human beings are actually consciously or unconsciously creating everything that is happening in our lives. The simple truths that he describes make you realize how powerful we really are as creators in this physical form. I highly recommend this book to everyone that is stuck in their journey of life. It will set you free from the many barriers that you have created for yourself in this lifetime. This book is definitely one of my all time favorites.

3. Conversations with God

by Neale Donald Walsh

In his 3 book series of Conversations with God the author opens you to another language of the soul. He shows you how we can actually communicate with the essence of God. The books are amazing in the fact that if you are a beginner on your spiritual journey this books will open you to discover another side of you that never existed in your pre-existing religious life. In his conversations with God, Neale the author explains how you can have an open communication and speak directly to God. His books open you to a different kind of language which opens your mind to so much more and makes you realize that God as they say is only a thought away. He has deep conversations with God and as you read along you realize that he is actually somehow really talking to God to himself. If your journey into spiritual learning is on its first steps this is a must read book and is a required step into the right direction.

by Anita Moorjani

This is definitely a must read book. In her NDE Anita goes into detail about how she was in the brink of death and how she came back to life with a new meaning for life with a great message to give. In her awesome experience she goes on to explain how we view things here in this world and we try to live up to everybody"s expectations except our own. We try so hard to please everyone in our life but in the process we stop loving ourselves. This is not your ordinary NDE book, in her experience Anita discovered many things including how we create everything that is happening to our bodies and how we create our own diseases by all the mental games we play within ourselves. We really never fully realize the damage we do to our own self. This book touched a part of my spirit that had never been touched before. It rang true to me at so many levels and it gave me the message of how important it is to love oneself.

by Eckhart Tolle

This book is a must read by anyone who is stuck on their spiritual quest not knowing where to go next. Eckhart explains how observing your mind and taking control of your thoughts opens you to a different dimension in this life journey. Many of us let the mind control our every move but if we learn to live in the Now as he explains the mind starts losing its control over us and we realize we are in control of our every thought. The message given to you is that you are in control of your thoughts and your mind is just another great tool in your journey in this lifetime. It explains how becoming an observer of your mind gives you your power back. Eckhart explains how the out of control mind is like a disease and that most of the world is living with this dreadful, nagging disease. Learning to live in the Now opens you to your true self and gives you the ability to conquer back your life. In becoming the observer of your mind you open yourself to the universal God mind. It opens a door for you to discover that your power resides within your own thoughts making you the creator of your life.
